After a lengthy correspondence and several meetings and weekends, Isabella and Mark became engaged and eventually were married when Mark left the Navy. The wedding was on 4th Nov., 1961 at a local Mckeesport church and a simple family gathering after the wedding at her Aunt's house ( Irvine Harris, Joan Walker's Mom ). Joan was one of her closest cousins. A short honeymoon was primarily spent in Gettysburg, PA. 3 wonderful children (Helen,John,Yvonne) were born in McKeesport Hospital. They really are good people. Anyway,we resided in McKeesport, Dravosburg and back to McKeesport. Some 9 years later we moved to North Huntingdon Twp., near Irwin, PA. Isabella was a good Mom and could not be a better wife, companon,friend, etc. After a happy, blissful and serene marriage of 42 years, she unfortunately passed away 5 days after a laproscopic stomach operation in a Pittsburgh Hospital. Of the many girls and women that I met since I was 17 till I was 25, I chose Isabella for my wife and time being the indicator, I made the right choice.
